SaaS brings many well-known benefits to an Enterprise, like obviating the need for managing on prem hardware and associated people hours for managing such systems. While SaaS contracts can reduce the amount of effort to manage enterprise systems, there is a tradeoff in control of such systems, and in some cases in management of systems. The world of performance management of SaaS ‘systems’ offerings vary a great deal, while some provide relatively rich functionality for verifying SLA’s, and others, little to none.
